The Belmont Addition is part of the Lower Greenville Neighborhood Association. The Lower Greenville Crime Watch covers the area from Mockingbird to Ross and Greenville to Skillman. Our Crime Watch sends out a monthly report for the area containing a log of all reported incidents broken down by area. The report also includes descriptions of specific high impact incidents and tips on how to avoid becoming a victim of crime. Occassionally, we send our Crime Alerts when there is a specific incident or trend of an urgent nature.
In addition, the Crime Watch operates a voluntary Extended Neighborhood Patrol program. Residents in the area contribute annually to the program to hire an off-duty Dallas Police officer to patrol the neighborhood and follow-up on specific incidents.
