Many of the residents of the BACD have decided to support Lee in a number of ways. We want to promote all the positive things going on at this award winning school as well as help them to provide some new and useful programs for its students. We are always looking for help both financial and in volunteer hours.
Donations

Friends of Geneva Heights Elementary School
Goal: $65,000 Designated for school Academics. As an example, school’s IB program, classroom technology upgrades, science lab, supplies, etc.
Project Refresh – Geneva Heights
Goal: $150,000 Designated to fund capital improvements to the grounds of the school. As an example, new basketball court, new soccer field, expanded garden, beautification of grounds fronting Matilda, new outdoor amphitheater, and general beautification of the grounds.
Pre-Geneva Association
The Pre-Geneva Association is a Geneva Heights support organization made of parents are not yet old enough to attend school. They provide a forum for expectant parents and families with children ages 0 – 5 who reside in the Geneva Heights Elementary attendance zone. Find them online at Pre-Geneva. Their biggest fundraiser of the year is Geneva Nights.

Woodrow Wilson Community Foundation
WWHSCF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that serves all of the schools in the Woodrow Wilson feeder pattern through scholarships and funding for specialized education programs (like IB), facilities upgrades (like new playground equipment) and technology upgrades (like Smart classrooms). Donations can be made to specific school funds like those listed above or to the foundation in general: WWHSCF website
J.L. Long Middle School
Our neighborhood is served by J. L. Long Middle School. Key Features include:

Magnet & Choice Schools
In addition, DISD has a number of Magnet schools where BACD residents attend: DISD Magnets
DISD is also working toward choice school options within DISD. There are 5 other elementary schools within the Woodrow Wilson feeder pattern, some of which offer S.T.E.M.
